A visit from Mrs Winter
An exciting microbiological adventure!
Today, we were very lucky to have a visit from Mrs Winter as part of our Science Week 2022 events. Mrs Winter works at Nottingham Trent University and kindly came in to share lots of interesting facts about microbiology. She also gave us a tour of her lab by video call the previous week.
The children then got busy collecting samples from around the classroom to investigate which species of microbe were growing where! We took great care to use our equipment correctly and carefully.
Thank you to Mrs Winter for taking the time to visit us - myself and the children really enjoyed it!
