DT Day - WW2 Rationing
A fantastic afternoon of chopping and prepping!
The children have worked hard today, following recipes from the cookbooks of the wartime era, when even the most basic of ingredients were severely rationed. We made eggless sponge and attempted bubble and squeak. The children practised their chopping, peeling, weighing and measuring skills and did a great job of producing some authentic war-time snacks.
