Just to let you know: we are going to be creating some shields and helmets as part of our learning about the Roman invasion of Britain. Year 4 will be having two DT sessions over the coming weeks to design and make these items which parents are invited to join. The first session will be last lesson next Thursday, 27th September (2.30pm to 3.30pm) when we will design our shields, and then the following Thursday 4th October for the full afternoon (1pm to 3.30pm) where we will be making our shields. Should you wish to join us for either of these sessions then parent helpers are most welcome - just let me know when you will be joining us. Looking forward to seeing the children's creations!
