Pitch Perfect!

What an amazing day I've had in Year Four! 

After some awesome writing all about the Saxons in the morning (I learnt a lot!) we spent the afternoon as scientists and musicians exploring sound and pitch.

The children investigated how to change the pitch on their guitar strings, put them in order from high to low and even began to compose some music!

They were super team workers and reflective learners; helping each other to adapt their designs, teaching each other tunes and working together to tie knots or secure parts of their guitars.
