Learning About Earthquakes and Tsunamis!

Year 4 were very lucky to have a visit from Mr Bateson yesterday, who did a fantastic investigation with the children about buildings and earthquakes. Mr Bateson has recently been on a research trip in Indonesia so had some amazing photos and information about the recent seismic activity over there to share with the children.

The children then tested their buildings to see if they would survive an earthquake, using an earthquake simulator. It was a great afternoon for all involved!
