Fantastic fossils and where to find them

What an amazing afternoon we had as a class.

First the children in year 3 learnt all about fossils and the process of fossilisation. 

Then they had the opportunity to create their own fossils and what an unbelievable job they did.

Recipe for Fossils:

100g of salt, 75g of plain flour, 40g coffee grounds and 50ml of water. 

Mix together to make a dough and then carefully place your dinosaur toy into the mixture.

Leave it to dry over night.
