What a week of science! We’ve done a daily ‘awe and wonder’ science experiment to celebrate science week. For each experiment we made predictions, tested them out and discussed what had happened after. There was so much scientific language being used - you’d be so proud parents.
On Friday we were visited by the British Geological Survey, who treated us to a talk about volcanoes, different types of rocks and fossils. They even let us do some fossil rubbings, and set us up with a rock growing experiment. We’ll keep you posted on that one.
We started off the week by going for a lovely spring walk around the school grounds.
We enjoyed reading lots and lots of animal stories with all these lovely animals!
What a wonderful Book Week we’ve had!
We had a great day as part of our Book Week today! Year 6 came to visit Reception to share some books with us. It was so lovely!
