Homework WB 10.07.23
Hi everyone,
Key events this week - synagogue (Tuesday morning - children to wear normal uniform, bring a drink and you will either have order sandwiches from the kitchen or will be bringing own lunch but NO HAM please!). Synagogue: polite reminder to pay £1.50 contribution towards this. The synagogue ask for this to cover staffing costs and other costs associated with allowing us to visit next week.
- please bring in clock costumes if you haven't already (wow - they all look fantastic - thanks for making such a special effort with this).
Spelling: this week we have spelling words which are common exception words - this means they don't follow a particular rule and are sometimes known to children as 'tricky words'. Words are set on Spelling Shed and there is an activity in your child's purple homework book that will come home tomorrow.
Special homework: homework sheet for children to think about themselves.
This will be the last homework of the year and I will send purple books home next week, they can stay at home after that.
Reading: please read regularly with your child. We will send new books home tomorrow, as usual. These will link to what they have been reading in their phonics / reading sessions. Don't forget to fill in your reading journeys!
Maths: please try to achieve '5 a day' and complete assignments that have been set.
I think that's about all for now!
Show week next week - performance on Tuesday at 1:30pm and 6pm (children to return to school no earlier than 5:45pm) and 6pm on Wednesday. This is different to the times shown on scholar pack.
