HoMework 30.1.23
Thanks again for so many purple books on the door this morning. Lots of hard work going on in our Penguin class! What a super start to Monday morning seeing that one child has been busy cooking up a Caribbean storm in the kitchen with a mouth watering menu and another has brought in fresh banana cake for all the staff (very much appreciated and wow; incredible with a cup of tea!).
Just a reminder for our usual homework - your new activities will be sent home in purple books tomorrow, due in next Monday.
*Stay in the green zone on doodle (assignments are set from your teachers - and can be set from parents using their linked account information). Well done to all the children who have completed their doodle assignments and stayed in the green zone. You are superstars! If you want any extra maths activities to work on this week, please continue to count to and from 50 with more practise on counting back as we have been finding this harder (especially when we cross the 10s!).
*Read to a grown up (at least 3 times) - look out for your new books - Mrs Ogilvy will update book bags with next texts this week.
*Do your spelling homework (Spelling Shed activities are set, too). We have set assignments out of line with the weekly homework - this is so that children continue to practise words from previous weeks to help them learn these better). Handwriting activity can be found in your purple book this week with an endings activity.
*Topic homework if not yet complete (but great work with the cooking)!
*Special homework activity (this week you will find an + and - activity to help support our learning in school this week).
Please note that we are no longer using SeeSaw as a way of sharing homework but homework activities can be sent in with purple books.
All non-urgent messages should be sent to the office now and any urgent messages phoned to the office.
