Jubilee celebrations!

We had a fantastic day celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!

We started the day with learning about what the Queen does and her role. We then wrote our own manifestos to explain what we would do if we were King/Queen for the day. The children came up with some amazing and inspirational ideas!

We then had a go at a maths mystery challenge. The children showed super team working skills to work through some clues to solve the mystery of who baked the cake for the Jubilee celebrations.

At lunch, we had a picnic on the field and in the afternoon, we made our very own crowns and Union Jacks. We also had a sweet treat from the ice cream van (yum!).
