Book Week and World Book Day!

What an amazing week we have had in Apple Class! 

For Book Week, we have been learning all about Michael Morpurgo and the books he has written.

We have written fact files, book reviews and even letters to Michael Morpurgo! We even had a go at re-writing part of Michael Mopurgo's book, Kaspar Prince of Cats, from the perspective of the cat which the children really enjoyed!

On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as characters from magical stories. We had many Harry Potter's, a Voldemort, a few fairies, a Mad Hatter, fortune-tellers and many more! A super effort all round!

We also enjoyed sharing some amazing stories with children in Year 1! 

On Friday we were lucky enough to have Mexico Mike come into school to do some story telling workshops with us. He is super amazing at telling stories and all the children got involved and even told their own stories!
