Year Two - Chirping chicks!

We have had an amazing week watching the chicks wobble, hatch, then sleep and get fluffy! On Friday we welcomed the fourteenth, and final, chick and have already learnt so much about these animals and what they need to survive as well as how we can take the best care of them. It has complemented our work in Science and English brilliantly and has well and truly engaged the children in every way!

Next week we should be able to handle the chicks as they will be stronger. We will continue asking the question 'How do they grow and change?' and will be thinking more about taking care of them.
