Thrilling Thursday!

What a wonderful day! First of all, we received a video message from Santa - he told us that he would be visiting Crossdale and leaving us some early Christmas gifts! A short while later, Santa himself turned up on the school field on a rather fantastic motorbike...with his elf in the sidecar!

As if this wasn't amazing enough, a sackful of gifts then arrived for the children, along with a 'Party in a Box' from our brilliant PTA. In the box was a gift bag for each child, containing a cracker, bingo game and chocolate treats for us to enjoy whilst watching our online pantomime! (Also kindly funded by the PTA). We were delighted to discover some photo booth props in the Party box and had great fun using these. (See attached pictures). Bingo was tense and went down to the wire, but was finally won by Connor!

To top it all off, the children enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch cooked by Crossdale's fabulous kitchen staff.

Because the children of Crossdale school have been working so hard this term, they have managed to complete our whole school reward display! This means that we'll be having a treat day tomorrow, yay! In year 4, we've decided that we'd like to have a pyjama day and enjoy a movie and a cup of hot chocolate. The children will be going outside throughout the day as well, so remind them to wrap up!

Please encourage children to bring a carrier bag in tomorrow as we will be emptying our trays ready for the new term.

Thank you.
