Welcome Back!

Year Three have made a fantastic start to the year and are definitely ready for Base Two!  We have had a fun filled week getting to know each other and have drawn, painted and collaged our way through the week for art week!  This afternoon we heading out to complete our big art, ready for the Tour of Britain fly over on Saturday.

Yesterday, the children received their reading records.  This is for the children and yourselves to log their reading at home (if you are planning to come into class in the morning for reading with your child, this would be the perfect time to do this too!)  Every Friday, I will collect the records and sign to say I have checked the children have read five times throughout the week.  Some of these entries can be the children reading to themselves but it would be fabulous if you could talk about what they have read afterwards.

Our Base meeting is on Tuesday at 7pm so if you have any questions about reading or anything else, please bring them along!
