Science Week and Red Nose Day

What a week!

Year Three have been busy again this week with the Crossdale science week.  Lots of children took part in the science fair after school on Monday and Bethany even won a prize for her creative project!  We've been so lucky to have two parent scientists visit our classroom too!  Mr Bateson-Ramos talked to us about his own experience in Indonesia, while we also learnt about earth quakes and tsunamis.  The children then had a go at making a two storey tower using blu tak and art straws to see if it would with stand and earth quake!  Mr White told us all about animal nutrition, which links really nicely with our upcoming Predator topic.  The children are already full of facts and have lots of questions going into our topic.   We have finished off the week with a fantastic Fizz Pop assembly!

Thank you for all of your support with red nose day today too and have a lovely weekend!
