The Lime Tree Class had a wonderful last day of Reception .  We made the most of the sunshine and spent the afternoon outside. Below are some photos to give you a flavour of our time.

The Reception team are going to miss you all so much.  We thank you all for the support, kindness and wonderful children you have given us this challenging year.  It's certainly been a different year, but we have all enjoyed our time with the Lime Tree Class immensely.

This week's home learning is based around the story of Cody the Cautious Caterpillar. It is a lovely story that provides lots of opportunities to talk about changes. As the children are coming to the end of their Reception year it aims to support the transition from Reception to Year One.

Please see the attachments below to support this week's learning.

    Have a lovely week

    Hello lovely lime trees!

This weeks home learning story is Beegu by Alexis Deacon.

The is the story of an alienated alien. Beegu's spacecraft is stranded on Earth. Now she is lost and wandering. Waiting for a rescue signal from her mother, she fails to make friends with the strange creatures she encounters.

This week's maths is based around another favourite 'Oliver's Vegetables' by Vivian French.

We hope you love diving into these stories as part of your home learning.

    Love from

    Mrs Ingle and Mrs Mellor
