This week we would like you to write a non-fiction information page all about Africa. We have included a reading comprehension (attached below) where you will discover lots of facts about this place but also you can do your own research, too - if you would like to.
You will find a lesson about Africa on Oak National Academy (it is filed under Year One, however this is part of the KS1 curriculum – not just a Year One objective) https://www.thenational.academy/year-1/foundation/what-is-africa-like-year-1-wk2-4
You should aim to write at least 8 sentences using:
* real facts
*full stops and capital letters correctly
*best letter join writing
*long sentences using ‘and’, ‘but’, ‘so’, ‘yet’ to join 2 simple sentences
*careful description using adjectives
*use of commas in lists
You can also include pictures and captions.
