Trip to the Library 

Yesterday Year One had a lovely trip to Keyworth Library as part of our world book week celebrations.

The children had a great time walking to the library and choosing a new book to read. All the children walked very sensibly to the library and showed that they could follow The Crossdale Way really well. The librarians and the Year One team were very impressed with how the children behaved and how polite they were. 

Those children with a library card were able to take a book home to read. If your child did not bring a book home the librarians have set a book aside that your child would like to take home to read. You can collect these books from the library until Saturday and will just need to fill out a form beforehand and they can issue your child with a library card. I have some of these forms so please ask if you would like one or you can fill one out at the library.
