Welcome back!

We've had a lovely first day back today and it has been great hearing about all the wonderful things the children have been up to during half term.

A few housekeeping bits and bobs...

Please check your child's Reading Journey Book to ensure that they are bringing home the correct colour band books as many of the children have moved on!

We had a great BIG spelling test of all the Year One common words today and I'll be sending home their results so you can easily see which words to work on. Thank you for working so hard on these over half term with the children, the practice really has paid off!

I will also be sending home Year Two Home Work folders on Friday - a letter inside should explain how we'll be using it for the remainder of the year.

And, last but not least, please find attached this week's spellings.
