London's burning!

On Monday we had a visit from some fire fighters who came to talk to us all about fire safety. They showed us the fire engine and the equipment that they carry on board and then helped us to recreate the fire that we have been so learning so much about from that famous night in Pudding Lane in September 1666!

It was a brilliant morning and very much complemented our topic as well as providing inspiration and knowledge for some great non-fiction writing in English.
