Welcome to Year 4!

Our first week in Year 4

Hello all,

What a great first week I have had with my lovely new class! Thank you, children, for being your best, being great listeners and giving everything a go. You have made a great impression on me already and left me very excited for the rest of the year!

This week, as well as getting to know me and get used to their new surroundings, the children have:

- followed the Crossdale Way and recapped the Rainbow Rules

- worked together to create a Monkey Puzzle sign (as pictured above!)

- created artwork inspired by Basquiat and had fun just being creative and learning from their mistakes.

- shown off beautiful handwriting by writing a Class Contract and shown off their maths skills with a times tables quiz.

Very impressive, Monkey Puzzle!

Grown-ups, please see Mr. Pharoah's sports blog where he has uploaded info about yr 4 swimming lessons, which start on Thursday 9th September (next week). Also, there will be a "Welcome to Base 2" meeting on the same day at 5:15 - 5:45pm, with Mr. Dring and I.

Looking forward to getting to know you this year,

Mrs. Rodriguez
