Bubble A: Week Beg 13th July

Hello again lovely Bubble A children and parents!

We have had another super week with lots of fun and smiles. Your children have worked so hard during their two days in school and have really engaged with the project of this week, too (Healthy Bodies). They enjoyed finding out about healthy foods and then about sun safety. Some of the dishes the children have created this week look amazing; I wish I could come for tea! Thanks for showing me those pictures and letting children 'loose' in the kitchen. They are learning so many different skills and it is wonderful to see them flourish in these different ways. Some have mastered bike riding, cake making, helping around the house and these are such valuable life skills so thank you for working on these. Unfortunately our PE slot on Tuesday afternoon was rained off so we were creative and used our classroom for some chair yoga. We have listened to all children read and you will have a new book to enjoy together, plus reading eggs comprehension and library book. As a lot of children have been using past SATS paper (as this is easy and safe to reproduce) I have also been sending these home. It is great if the children want to go through this with you. We cannot reuse the paper for a second child at the moment, hence why they are coming home.

I have been busy preparing for the blended home/school learning for next week. There is no Oak National Academy for next week but I have put together some comprehensive packs ready to go home, as usual, next Tuesday. A copy of spellings, plus all the maths sheets you will need will be enclosed. 

Just a quick reminder about the spelling test on Monday, too.

Thank you for the emails I have already received; as always, I love seeing your work and I will give you feedback on your writing. If I have not heard from you yet then I will be in touch via email shortly to see how you are getting on with your extended writing. Next week you can choose either the Thurs or the Fri lesson to send in as there is a writing outcome for each day.
