Another great Bubble B Day

Hello Bubble B’s,

What a fab Friday we have had. The children have settled into the new routines brilliantly and it feels like the ‘new normal’ is already well established. We have had another busy day looking at non-chronological texts, measures and famous artwork.  For this week’s art project, we have been learning about Monet. The children used paint and cotton buds to create their own version of Monet’s Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge. I was so impressed with the amount of detail they used…and their super concentration! I have attached some pictures of our fab Friday and their super artwork.

Also, the children have been learning the following spellings:

after, fast, last, past, father, class, grass, pass, plant, bath.

I have sent the children home with a cover, write, check sheet for them to keep practising on.

Bubble B will be tested on Friday 10th July.

I have also sent home a ‘Home Learning’ pack. The pack should have everything you need for your days at home next week. Please email me if there are any problems or questions. I will upload next week’s new Learning Mat for you next week.

Lastly, for those who are coming into school. The last couple of days have been a bit cooler. In school, we have to keep windows and doors open as much as possible. Therefore, can I recommend children bring in a warm jumper/cardigan/fleece as it can be cool in the classroom.

For those of you who are not joining us just yet, you are being missed! I hope you are all happy and well and let me know if you need anything.

Thank you and have a lovely weekend!

Mrs Payne
