Writing Task

This week, we would like you to look at The Book of Hopes https://literacytrust.org.uk/family-zone/9-12/book-hopes/ and read some of the stories or poems with a grown up. What does ‘hope’ mean? Write a poem or a story about the theme of hope. We would love to collect your work in to make our own Year Two book all about hope. Please send your work in to our class email address so we can then upload to share with everyone.

Don’t forget:

• Full stops and capital letters
• Best letterjoin writing
• Adjectives to ‘paint’ a clear picture in your reader’s head
• Longer sentences using: and, but, so, or, yet
