A Visit from Rabbi Dvir Baris

Dear all,

Year 1 and Year 2 have had a special visitor in today. Rabbi Dvir Baris from the Nottingham Synagogue came in to talk to the children. He talked about his synagogue and the services he takes. He showed the children some special artefacts and explained their importance. He read from the Torah and explained the Hebrew language. Children were also invited to wear some of the special clothing he had brought in too. The children were fantastic at listening and asked some really good questions to explore his religion further.

Well done Base One and a big thank you to Rabbi Dvir Baris for giving us his time.
