YEAR 2 SPELLING AFTERNOON!

What a fantastic spelling afternoon Year 2 have had!

We played scrabble, bananagram, completed Year 2 Common Exception word game packs and much more! I could not believe how amazing everyone was at using these fun ways to explore spelling lots of our tricky Year 2 words!

We ended with a 'Spelling Bee' and although we had some very strong contenders on the buzzers, answering quick-fire Common Exception word spellings, we were all blown away by our raining champion, Faith - who even got one of Mrs Westies' special Head Teacher stickers.

Keep up the fantastic spelling practise Year 2, your hard work is clearly paying off!
