FAO Parents of children in Year One

    Dear Parents,

I am writing to inform you of a change to the planned teaching structure in Year 1. Miss Robinson has requested that she work part time, for 3 days a week. Having considered this request carefully, I have agreed to accommodate it. As such, from next week she will be sharing her class teacher responsibility with Mrs Phoenix. You may already know that Mrs Phoenix has worked at Crossdale at different times and in different roles for over 10 years and is a much respected and valued member of the teaching staff.  Over many years she has consistently shown herself to be a skilled teacher who has a hugely positive impact on the children in her care.

Mrs Phoenix will typically work on Thursdays and Fridays, with Miss Robinson teaching at the start of the week, although we may occasionally change these days. For instance, Mrs Phoenix will teach this Friday, and next Monday and Friday, with Miss Robinson teaching Tuesday-Thursday next week.

Please pop in to introduce yourself to Mrs Phoenix and do not hesitate to contact me, or Mrs Westmorland if you have any further questions.

    Regards,

    Peter Cresswell
