Zoolab!
Published 15/01/19, by Claire JonesWow! What an amazing morning we have had! We learnt lots of facts about the animals that our visitor from Zoolab brought in. Have a look at our super pictures - we were very brave; either touching or holding all sorts of amazing animals. We found out about habitats and adaptation, camouflage, diet and senses. It was great to talk about some of the animals we have seen in our St Lucia story books and in our Non Fiction books. Ask your child what their favourite animal was and see if they can remember a super fact...!

Reading Eggspress homework
Published 14/01/19, by Claire JonesHi again,
I had a panic that I'd not clicked 'save' on the homework tasks I set so I have logged in to check the children's accounts. The activities are correctly set and can be found under 'reading eggspress'. Well done to 3 children that have already logged on and had a go at this and apologies about the confusion!
Let me know if there are any more issues with logins. (The parents who have spoken to me today about lost logins should be able to find the details in their child's bookbags).
Mrs Jones.

Reading Eggs
Published 12/01/19, by Claire JonesReading Eggs is a fantastic resource that Crossdale has purchased to help support you at home with reading. Being interactive, it is really fun with lots of engaging texts and activities. Although we do not formally set lots of homework in KS1, we do expect you to use this as part of your reading activities.
Each child has their own account - if you have lost your details then please see us and we can give you your logins and passwords again.
I have set a few activities for the children this week. One relates to the whole class spelling rule (see previous blog) and then I have specifically allocated different lessons to individual children. I have set a two week window for these tasks to be completed and I hope you will find time to work through and enjoy these with your children.
