computing

Hello everyone,

 

Year one had a busy afternoon today including some computing.  They were very excited to try logging on and clicking onto the internet.  As this is something we will be doing over the next few weeks it would be really helpful if you could spend some time practising with them.

 

In order for the children to login at school, they need to enter the word ‘monkey’.  Please could you help them find these keys and practise tapping these letters in.  It is also important for them to learn how to press the keys, we had a few mmmooonkkkkeeeeyyy!  If they can also practise the one and double clicks on the mouse pad, this will really support them when clicking their way through the icons.

 

If you can help, it will make the process much quicker for them and the children will become much more confident when using the laptops.
