Autumn 2: Key Information

Please find attached the key information for this half-term.

Our history topic this half-term is World War 1. Our enquiry question is 'How did WW1 impact our locality?' We will be learning about how WW1 began, what life was like in Keyworth during and after WW1,  what life was like in the trenches and on the home front, how weapons and technology impacted on the war effort and looking for bias in historical sources.

Our science topic this half-term is all about forces. We will be looking at the effects of gravity, air resistance and water resistance and exploring how gears, levers and pulleys reduce the impact of forces to make jobs easier.
