Reading activity
Grown-ups, you will have received an email with information about this fun reading challenge from the local library - https://www.inspireculture.org.uk/reading-information/childrens-library/summer-reading-challenge/

Maths activity Use your new Times Tables Rockstars login details (handed to children on the last day) to keep up your times tables skills from year 2 and year 3. You can log on and practice your 2, 5, 10, 3, 4 and 8 times tables!

Class activity  On our first day back, we have an activity that will help us improve our confident speaking skills from day 1!

"What's in the bag?"
Please bring a bag (simple canvas bag / party bag) to school on the first day, filled with items that will help us get to know each other! The items should be things that tell us about your likes dislikes, your hobbies, your family... you could even keep a diary recording what you have done this summer!

example: In Mrs. Rodriguez's bag, there would be...
a little sloth keyring - because I LOVE sloths!
a picture of Sasha, my new puppy!
a diary I have kept over the summer, recording Sasha's every move and progress!
a pretty postcard from Peru, showing what it's like in the country where my family still live
a picture of me and my husband from our wedding day last summer :)
my watercolour palette - my favourite hobby!
