Forest Schools Kit

Hello Maple Class,

I hope you have all had a restful holiday, even if it is not the one you planned. Looking at all the pictures of crafts you have sent in, photos of you with your family and seeing some special moments like new babies being born, I am sure you have all enjoyed some time off to rest and will have news to share with your friends on Monday.

We will continue to do Forest Schools on a Monday afternoon, as well as PE so please ensure your child has all the right equipment in, from this week. They will need the normal wellies, warm coat, waterproof trousers and warm layers to help them enjoy being outside and to avoid uniform getting muddy.

There has been a message sent from Mr Cresswell about layers in school and dressing your child warmly whilst we are ventilating the classroom. As fleeces, jumpers and cardigans tend to go on and off regularly, please make sure these are labelled!

Don't forget the normal spelling test on Monday, too. Please also keep an eye out for announcements and activities on SeeSaw. Mrs Payne will now be setting maths/writing homework on a Friday and I will be sharing our new topic homework with you next week. There will be the normal 'talk through' of our new spelling rule on Monday from me.
