We miss You!

Hello lovely Year Ones!

Well, we have nearly had a week without you and my goodness are we missing you!

It's been so lovely having the sun shine and I'm sure you'll all have been making the most of it by playing outside! I know lots of you have been making rainbows and putting them in your windows and we've made a giant rainbow to put on the school gates  - see if you can spot it on your next walk!

We have a new class email address which we'll be contacting you with next week and can't wait to here about all the things you have been up to. We also welcome any questions about your home learning tasks, and want to keep in touch over the coming weeks to make sure you're all ok!

For phonics lessons go to You Tube - Ruth Miskin Set 2 Speed Sounds or Set 3 Speed Sounds. There is a daily live lesson which is brilliant (Set 2 Sounds at 10a.m and Set 3 Sounds at 10:30a.m) and just how we teach it at school. 

 This week's writing challenge is rainbow themed! Write a rainbow adventure story...imagine that you find a rainbow and slide to the end of it, where does it take you and what will you do there? Finally how will you get back home?

We've also added a few extra challenges (on the poster below) to keep you busy if/when your grown ups are working and please feel free to send us pictures!
