YEAR 1 SPRING 1 SPELLINGS
Welcome back everyone!
I hope everyone had a fantastic and restful Christmas and new year.
Please find attached the overview for the spellings we will be looking at each week in Year 1. As usual, a piece of homework will be sent home each week to compliment the practise we do in class together.
Our first set of spellings in Year 1 this week looks at the /igh/ sound spelt 'igh', 'y':
right, bright, light, night, fright, tight, high, I, by, my
As for the previous term, any returned and completed homework earns children a stamp on their chart!
