Chinese New Year
Hello,
The Chinese New Year begins on Tuesday 5th February and Year 1 have had a lovely afternoon today learning all about it. We watched a short film about the race of the twelve animals and how they were ordered into the years. We also looked at the different ways the Chinese celebrate their new year and the traditions they follow. The children worked hard designing and cutting to create their own Chinese lanterns.
