Goodbye to Mrs Stockdale
Mrs Stockdale, our long-standing cook is due to retire on 22nd May 2020. She has worked at Crossdale for an amazing 25 years and has been a school cook for 37 years! We would like to wish her well as she leaves to enjoy a well-earned retirement and we would very much like to include messages from the children in her send off!
It would be great if your child / children could write a message or create a video message for Mrs Stockdale, or perhaps they’d prefer to make a card! If the message can be sent to school via email, please send it to contact@crossdale.notts.sch.uk. Any cards can be sent to school in the post. In the message, your child / children may want to include what their favourite school meal has been, or wish her well for her retirement.
We ask that any cards or messages are with us by 15th May so that we have a week to collate them, ready to present to her on 22nd May. We will organise a leaving gift and flowers too, to help mark this special occasion.
