Fangtastic October Poems!

Today, we had the first round of our autumn poetry competition. The children who wished to enter read out their poems to the class, and all of the entries were absolutely brilliant! We will be having the second round tomorrow morning. 

The quality of each and every one of the poems that the children produced as part of their half term homework is absolutely outstanding - I have just been marking them and they have well and truly transported me into autumn! I shall be creating an anthology of all the children's poems so that they can become a permanent feature of our classroom to be enjoyed by all!
