Science Week and snow fun!

Hello all,

Here are some pictures from our Science Week activities! The children loved hearing form a scientist on her efforts to look after our local wildlife. Jenni spoke to us all about her work on the hedgehog highway project and the children asked lots of insightful questions.

We also conducted our own special experiment linked to our topic, solids, liquids, gases: is Cream a solid or a liquid? We found that with vigorous churning, it did indeed contain solid fat molecules, which became butter, and the liquid was left behind as buttermilk. It was very tasty on a cracker!

I have also attached some photos of the children enjoying themselves in the snow last week.
