Homework Blog

Thanks again for all the purple books that I have received in this morning - Penguins are great are doing their homework and the extra reading and practise tasks they do is really helping them in class! I'll return the purple books again tomorrow, filled with spelling and special homework activities for the week ahead. Please note that if the books aren't in on a Monday then the sheets will come home loose with you on a Tuesday as I allocate time on a Monday to do this and I am unable to do this on other days.

*The special homework task this week is to correct a few unpunctuated sentences - we have been doing lots of this in school so the children should be confident with it. We call it sentence surgery. *Listen to your child read their school reading books several times during the week.

*Keep in the green zone with doodle. New assignments added frequently to link to our learning in school.

*Spelling homework via purple book and Spelling Shed website - we are practising u-e words this week.
