A visit from Mr Bateson

Flying a drone!

Today we had a visit from Mr Bateson, who works as a geologist at the BGS. We learnt about different sampling techniques that are used when surveying terrains, such as thermal imaging. We then got to see one of the drones fly that are used to take aerial photos!
