Reflective Learner Day!

Hello all,

I was really impressed with Monkey Puzzle class on our return from the holidays! We kicked off the term with a focus on being a Reflective Learner.
I challenged the children to a crafty activity called "quilling", which can be very tricky to learn at first. However, once you make a few failed attempts at coiling paper, you soon get the hang of it and you're flying!

As you can see from these pictures, the children did a fab job and learning from their mistakes, trying and trying again, and thinking about ways to improve their progress at every step.

Thank you Monkey Puzzle for helping to create a calm and friendly environment in our class. A place where we all feel comfortable making mistakes in front of each other. Sometimes, it's the best way to learn!
