Y5&6 Girls Football Team reach the semi-finals!

Hello all, 

I want to say a big well done to the year 5&6 girls football team for reaching the semi-finals in the girls Rushcliffe Schools Football Tournament. The girls started the morning off positively winning there first game very convincingly against Heymann 2-0. They then went on to beat Greythorn and Robert Miles in back to back 1-0 wins in two well fought match's. The next game would prove to be a tough one against Edmunnd Campion which sadly ended in a 2-0 defeat however the girls did not let this get them down and managed to get a good 0-0 draw against Willow Brook progressing them onto the semi-finals. 

The girls played West Bridgford Junior School in the semi-finals and sadly fell short to a 2-0 defeat. Although the result did not go the girl's way they left the tournament with smiles on their faces which shows the real team spirit we have at Crossdale!
