Science Week 2021

Hi all, although we weren't able to do our usual Science Week activities this year due to covid, we still marked the occasion with some experiments and a few online workshops with real scientists! Here are a few highlights from our Science Week 2021:

-we modelled the theory of gravity using a few balls and a bin bag

-we found out more about the work of physicists at Southampton University and then made our own artistic impressions of their research findings

-we learnt about the lives of some of the famous scientists which helped pave the journey to our current understanding of space and the universe

-we investigated Aristotle's theories to prove that the Earth is indeed round!
