Fantastic Festive Fun!

Hello Marvellous Maple,

What an eventful week we have had. The children have performed for their production, enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch, Christmas jumper day and been lucky enough to have a visit from Santa and his trusty Elf! We have had a jam packed festive few days. The children have been amazing (and extremely excitable as you can imagine!!)

A big thank you to all the helpers that made yesterday, in particular, so special. From 9.30am when we received the special message from Santa they hardly came down from the ceiling! Santa and his Elf arrived on his motorbike and sidecar (something I have never seen, and maybe won’t again!). The children waved and cheered and extremely grateful for the presents that were left. There was a goodie bag for each of them, bingo, chocolate treats and a cracker. We finished the day by watching the pantomime and enjoying popcorn and a drink of squash.

Today, the children have loved their well-earned treat day. We have coloured, created and Christmas’d all day! They have watched the Christmas movie with cookies and we watched our production with Haribo’s – apologies for the sugar high this week but we have LOVED it!
