Doodle Maths: Doodle Tables, My Maths

Hello Year Two Parents/Carers,

I have been speaking to Mr McKenna about times tables and some additional maths provision in this area for Year Two. You are able to access Doodletables (if you're not already) using your existing Doodlemaths accounts and then the algorithm will work out the times tables your child is working on and the ones they need a little more focus on.  Children will need to do a mixture of "learn" and "challenge" activities to really engage in this 'zone'.

I know that many of you have been busy with mymaths and because this homework has been set weekly throughout the year, since September - and more so during this period of school closure, many of your children will be getting towards the end of this now and will have done most of the work set for Year Two. We have therefore decided to go through the homeworks and we will set specific work that your child might not have scored 100% in or areas that they have found difficult. Don't forget that we are also suggesting White Rose Maths / Hamilton/ Oak National Academy for maths support during this time. By logging into your parent account of doodle you can also set some extras for your child if you think there is something they need a little more work on.

We are hoping to get more certificates out this week but do bear with us as we are now also teaching a group in school.
