I hope you have had a fab half term and enjoyed the wonderful weather!
I am attaching the Learning mat for next week here, as well as some extra resources which are mentioned on the mat.

And below is my suggestion for the break down of sessions form this project for the next 2 weeks. This week's sessions are sessions 1 - 5:
 

Session 1: Welcome > The Downside (pages 2 – 4)

S 2: The Mirror of wishes & despair (pages 5 - 6)

S 3: Read the story > Prediction (pages 7 – 9)

S 4: What do the words mean? > Similar or opposite meaning (pages 10 – 13)

S 5: Likes, dislikes, puzzles and surprises (pages 14 - 15)

S 6: Closer reading (pages 16 – 17)

S 7: Creating a mood with a sentence of 3 (pages 18- 19)

S 8: Writing speech effectively (pages 20 – 21)

S 9: Planning (pages 22 – 24)

S 10: Write your story! Don’t forget to read it to your grown-ups too!
