Hello!

Hi all, I hope that you are all keeping well and staying safe. Thank you for sending in pictures of your work to me, I always love seeing the fruits of your efforts and labours and all the amazing things that you have been getting up to! Thank you to all the adults at home who are doing a fantastic job of not only helping you to learn in this new home-school set up, but to working from home as well themselves. You must be doing some brilliant juggling!

The teachers have got their Easter holidays at different times this year. My Easter holiday began last week, so I have been taking the time to enjoy my gardening, cycling, fixing things around the house and catching up with friends online. I know that some of you have been planting your sunflower seeds, so if you haven't yet planted yours, then now is the perfect time.

I have also been putting together a little video to try and show you a few small science experiments for you to try at home, as part of the science topic we would have been studying now if we were in school. I am currently awaiting the rain that has been forecasted in the next few days to finish it off, and then I shall share it on here - hopefully technology will work! :)

You may well already be using it, but the Oak National Academy has now launched online, which contains structured sequences of lessons across the curriculum. The website for it is here: https://www.thenational.academy/online-classroom/year-4/

and it is an extra resource to have to hand.

As always, please message me if you have any questions. I am missing you all! Take care and stay safe!
