Welcome to Miss Holmes!

In Year 4 we have been enjoying our time working with Miss Holmes, who is with us this half term as part of her teacher training. Miss Holmes has written a short passage to introduce herself:

Dear Parents,

My name is Miss Holmes and I am fortunate to have to opportunity to spend six weeks in your child’s year four class, here at Crossdale Drive Primary. I am writing to introduce myself, I’m a trainee teacher and will be teaching lessons alongside Mr Brierley.

I have recently graduated with an education degree and have lived Nottingham all my life. I enjoy running and spending time with friends in my spare time. I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to teach Year Four. I have been at Keyworth Primary school since September and will be returning to finish my training after the six weeks. I would like to make sure all the children feel supported when they are learning and hope they enjoy having an extra helping hand.
