Black History Month

As part of our World View learning, the children had a Black History Month workshop before half-term where they learnt about significant figures.  The children spent a lot of time thinking about the role Rosa Parks had to play in the history of equality.  As well as this, the children wrote about a significant black person and why they had had an impact on their lives for our school mango tree.
