Mapping Our Way to North America!

As part of our Road Trip topic, we have been practising various important map skills today, using atlases to locate countries, capital cities and states of the US. The children have learnt how to recognise the symbols which are used to represent capital cities and have explored keys. We have looked through contents pages and the index to locate our locations on maps and learnt about some famous landmarks from the US.
